I’m excited to return to New Orleans, soon! I haven’t been in 2 years. This picture was taken on my last morning before I had I fly back to France. I spend those 2 last days in this amazing historic house in the French quarter with my favorite person in New Orleans. I’ve been missing this city so much!

In 2004, the Neighborhood Story Project was founded by Rachel Breunlin and Abram Himelstein as a book-making project based in the neighborhoods where New Orleanians live and work. NSP works with writers in neighborhoods around New Orleans to create books about their communities.
